Can I get my money back if I have to cancel?
Sorry but our policy is "no refunds" as outlined below:
Refund & Cancellation Policy:
Entry fees are non-refundable. Entries are non-transferable to another person. That means that once we receive and accept your entry, you will not receive a refund if you cannot participate. You may not transfer your entry to another participant, or to another year. The Marathon, in accordance with management executives, city officials and local law enforcement has the authority to cancel any of the events for emergency purposes such as, but not limited to, inclement weather or threat of terrorism. If such emergency conditions force cancellation, refunds cannot be provided since funds will have been spent in preparation for Race Day.
Is Thunder Bay Marathon - Miles with the Giant a Boston Qualifier?
Unfortunately, the course is not yet certified.
Can I use an mp3 player during the race?
While we have not banned MP3 players, we strongly recommend that participants NOT use audio devices during the race. Although you may listen to music during training, you quickly become a hazard to yourself and others on race day when you cannot hear what is taking place around you.
Can I bring my pet on the 10 KM walk?
No, pets are not allowed on the race course.
Are Nordic Walking Poles permitted?
Yes, Nordic Walking Poles are permitted for use during the half-marathon and 10K walk events.
