Registration Information

The 2012 Thunder Bay Marathon-Miles with the Giant will be held Sunday, September 23, 2012

Registration will open: March 2012

Race distances:

• Marathon 26.2 miles

• Marathon - Relay (teams of 5)

• Half-marathon 13.1 miles

• 10K

• 5K fun run/walk

Marathon & Half-Marathon participants receive a wicking shirt, 10K & 5K participants receive a tee shirt.

Online Registration Fees

All prices in Canadian dollars and includes HST.  HST# 85388 5465 RT0001.
*EventsOnline processing fee will be added to all online registrations.

Online Registration will close at 11:59pm on September 15, 2012. Marathon and Half-Marathon registrations will not be accepted after that date. If space permits, registrations for the 10K & 5K run/walk may be accepted in person at Kit-Pick Up.

In-person registration (cash or cheque) is also available at a slightly higher price until 5:00pm on September 15, 2012 at Fresh Air Experience, 311 Victoria Avenue East, Thunder Bay, ON

Refund & Cancellation Policy:

Entry fees are non-refundable. Entries are non-transferable to another person. That means that once we receive and accept your entry, you will not receive a refund if you cannot participate. You may not transfer your entry to another participant, or to another year. The Marathon, in accordance with management executives, city officials and local law enforcement has the authority to cancel any of the events for emergency purposes such as, but not limited to, inclement weather or threat of terrorism. If such emergency conditions force cancellation, refunds cannot be provided since funds will have been spent in preparation for Race Day.
